Goatface - Rainbow Jar

I've gotten a few messages/e-mails recently from various nice folks wanting to know what happened to this album. Basically, I decided to shelve this batch of songs because I just wasn't feeling the direction they were headed in. Stretching outside of the normal guitar/vox thing that I usually do was fun and I enjoyed giving loop based music a shot so some of these will probbaly get reworked into something less murky and more coherent when I get the chance.

The Lotus Plaza Tribute Album (Vol. 1)

So I did a track a while back for this project that got started over at http://deerhunter.freeforums.org. The idea was to take the track listing from Lotus Plaza's then forthcoming The Floodlight Collective and create our own songs based on the LP vibe. We got some pretty cool results. Check it out!

We also got some press!

Pitchfork Media - Forkcast (article is down, but Google Cache to the rescue!)
Exclaim.ca - Click Hear

Work on my new full length is going great and it should be done by the end of April(I hope). In the meantime there is a new track up on the myspace.

ah bloggin

New Goatface album Rainbow Jar is still being worked on. So far there are 15 tracks but I will most likely pare it down to 12 or so.

Here is a little vocal-less taste: decatur

Basically just my attempt to make an Atlas Sound album here. :) Been really diggin his music lately so I thought I would try my hand at loop based music and see what happens.
